Music & Me is the third studio album by Michael Jackson, released in 1973 on the Motown music label. It sold two million copies worldwide. Michael Jackson was 14 years old at the time and was experiencing vocal changes and a changing music landscape. Motown even refused to let him place his own compositions into the album. Following these developments, his father, Joe Jackson, worked towards terminating the Jackson 5's contracts with Motown and negotiate deals with Epic Records, instead.
