Five Leaves Left is the debut studio album by English folk musician Nick Drake. Recorded sometime between 1968 and 1969, it was released in the latter year by record label Island.
Today, it's considered a classic of contemporary music.
The title is a reference to the Rizla cigarette papers packet, which used to contain a small printed note near the end saying "Only five leaves left". There's also an O. Henry short story entitled "The Last Left".
